Heidi Strahm, Associate Director of Siskiyou Violins is a native of Southern Oregon, an Alum of Siskiyou Violins, and the conductor of Siskiyou Violins Protégé Ensemble. She has maintained a flourishing studio of violin and viola students in Oregon for over 20 years. Within that time she has had the opportunity to bring a number of her own students to Carnegie Hall with the Siskiyou Violins. In 2010-2015 she resided in Georgia, and started a successful violin ensemble called the Sweet Georgia Violins, which joined with Siskiyou Violins in the Gold medal winning performance at the 2012 Carnegie Hall competition. Heidi also enjoys assisting the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon. Ms. Strahm has a Bachelor of Music degree from Western Oregon University and served as the concertmaster for their orchestra.
